Finish
VanDenBosch believes the finish of a door is as important to it's beauty as the door style. For this reason, we don't leave that job to anyone else. We have our own stainers and painters, each trained to apply quality finishes to quality wood. Careful attention is paid to the wood species when guiding the customer in their color and application choice. Other aspects of the VanDenBosch quality service are:
- wood products come standard unfinished and VanDenBosch specializes the finish for the customer
- VanDenBosch finishes are applied in a dust free commercial paint booth to get a perfect finish
- products are delivered pre-finished in order to minimalize painting or staining in the individual's home
Paint
Most paint grade doors come to VanDenBosch primed and ready for paint. However, our painters then give them a light sanding in order to remove any blemishes before applying the customer's paint selection. Finishes are applied in a dust free commercial paint booth to get a perfect finish. We can match any color paint against a paint chip, formula or another painted item.
Stain
When our customers ask for a stained wood door, we take pains to bring out the beauty of the wood. Doors are received in an unfinished condition, sanded by our stainers to remove any blemishes and to smooth imperfections. We then apply a conditioner as needed to ready the wood to receive the stain in a uniform manner. All stain is hand applied in order to accentuate the details of the door. We will match stain color to your kitchen cabinets, favorite piece of furniture or other doors in your house.
